On a bright, breezy morning, special guests from Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and Singapore Food Agency (SFA) swapped their desks for gumboots and headed over to our farm
as part of their professional development.
This team involved recipients of the 2021 President’s Award for Teachers (PAT) and we were incredibly honoured to host them!
During their visit, we took the opportunity to narrate our humble beginnings and provided them
with a behind-the-scenes look at how technology and traditional farming methods work hand in hand to keep breakfast plates full across the country.
The tour began with a walk through the automated henhouses. Far from the rustic image of a
barnyard, these state-of-the-art facilities are climate-controlled, ensuring the hens are comfortable regardless of the weather outside.
Our visitors learnt about our feeding systems, which are carefully calibrated to provide the hens with a balanced diet rich in nutrients.

Importantly, our visitors learnt that happy, stress-free hens produce better quality eggs — a principle that underpins the farm’s approach.
Next, the group visited our egg-sorting and packaging facility. Here, the hum of machinery filled the air as eggs travelled along conveyor belts, passing through cleaning stations, quality inspections, and size grading.
Our visitors witnessed how each egg was sorted, packed, and made ready for delivery to supermarkets and eateries across Singapore.
The visit concluded with an open discussion. Topics ranged from the challenges of local farming to opportunities for integrating agricultural education into school curriculum.
Of course, our visitors could not leave the farm without our eggs!
We hope that this visit showcased our innovation, responsibility and quiet determination to always provide Singaporeans with the freshest eggs.
