Since 2000, we have been giving our hens a specially formulated in-house feed. As the nutritional content is substantially higher than that of a typical feed, our hens produce Designer Eggs with greater nutritional value. Our Designer Eggs, which contain additional Vitamin E, have a total fat content of less than 10 per cent and a cholesterol level that is 30 per cent lower than the standard egg.
We produce pure liquid eggs with no additional ingredients. These are supplied to F&B industrial partners. The eggs used are at their freshest – usually within three days of being laid – and undergo a pasteurisation process in a sanitised environment. They are kept chilled below four degrees Celsius, and undergo sampling tests regularly. SFA also conducts periodic checks on the premises. These ensure that stringent food safety standards are met.
