An Action With Meaning and Purpose
Sustainability is not just a buzzword – we’re continually going green and stepping up with meaningful action here at Chew’s Agriculture. If you haven’t already noticed, our nutritious and flavourful Kampong
Eggs now come in 100% recycled packaging — a move that highlights our eco-consciousness and dedication to environmental responsibility.
At the heart of this initiative is a simple idea: doing good for the planet while delivering uncompromising quality to customers. Our Kampong Eggs have long been a household favourite for their rich, golden yolks and natural goodness. Now, these same eggs come in packaging that is as thoughtful as the farming practices behind them.
At the heart of this initiative is a simple idea: doing good for the planet while delivering uncompromising quality to customers.

The new egg cartons are made from 100% recycled plastic (rPET), sourced from post-consumer plastic waste such as plastic bottles and containers — plastic that has already been used and would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. By giving this material a second lease of life, we reduce the need for virgin plastic, conserve resources, and cut down on overall waste.
But over here at Chew’s, we are not just choosing any eco-friendly material — we are also thinking about functionality. The new cartons are sturdy, lightweight and protective, ensuring that the eggs arrive fresh and intact from farm to shelves. By switching to recycled materials, we offer consumers a way to make a meaningful difference with every carton of eggs they buy.
Holistic Approach To Sustainability
This shift in packaging is part of our larger sustainability journey. At Chew’s, we are already using energy-efficient farming methods, practicing waste management, and supporting ethical animal welfare standards. The new packaging adheres to an unwavering commitment — not just to producing
good food, but to doing it in a way that respects our natural resources.

Perhaps what makes this change even more impactful is its visibility. The recycled carton itself becomes a subtle but effective reminder of how everyday choices, like which eggs we pick up at the
supermarket, can have a ripple effect. It is packaging with a purpose — one that tells a story of care, responsibility, and innovation.
In the long run, we hope to extend these efforts. From using solar energy to power our farm to working with local partners on waste reduction, we are constantly seeking new ways to make
our operations greener and more future-ready.
So the next time you crack open a Kampong Egg, know that you’re not just getting a wholesome meal — you’re supporting a company that believes in sustainability at every stage.
